PICKLE OR CUCUMBER
I created this file for a Cricut MB member. She needed a pickle. It'll be great for summer garden or recipe files. There are 2 versions. One is all GBS and the second is GBS & AK.

I'm getting impatient!!
I'm am tired of having to baby my shoulder. I just want it to work right! I go see the doc tomorrow and I hope he'll get me on some PT so I can get this worked out. It's been popping like crazy the last few days. Don't know if that's good or bad. It seems that's one of the things that they were trying to fix, so I hope it's just that there's still some swelling. I still can't lift it up much and can't put any pressure on it. The only thing they will let me do is shoulder shrugs and circles with my arm hanging down.
I was working in the garden earlier trying to get the weeds out. Jim used the tiller and I used a small shovel around the edges. After the tilling was done the dirt needed raked, so I decided to see if I could rake with one hand. I didn't do too bad at all. It sure took a lot of effort though. I had to put some hip into it, but I have plenty of help there.
Even typing is a bit of a hassle, because I can't keep the arm to type very long without causing pain. I am off the heavy pain killers and just using advil & tylenol.
I guess I shouldn't complain, but I'm just not a patient person. Having arthroscopic surgery rather than traditional certainly has to have made things so much better for recovery.

FUN SPIDER BORDER
Here's my newest border. It just came to me. I don't why I have to get ideas about spiders. I just HATE them. At least this one is kinda cute. I used OA, WC & PDDU. I just love the ones that look like they are bungee jumping! I think this will work great for summer garden, kids with bugs or, of course, Halloween.

TEA POT, TEA CUP & COFFEE CUP
Whew, I've been too busy lately!
I just want to catch up a bit with what's been happening here. I'm done with physical therapy 3 days a week. That's good, but now I've got to set up surgery for my shoulder. We were hopeful that PT would be enough, but no such luck. And the SI joint that went out during all this fun finally went back in place on it's own, after 2 weeks, despite the efforts of PT.
I finished the scrapbook for my cousin's daughter. It turned out great and she loved it.
We celebrated Derek's 26th birthday. He says he's now closer to 30 than 20, kinda sad.
I went to a women's retreat and taught card making and mini scrapbook classes. I really had a lot of fun with all the ladies.

I managed to squeeze in some short design time here and there, but not what I really want to work on. I've got some ideas rattling around in my head. Fortunately, they are not causing headaches.
Now I'm trying to get Parker family reunion stuff out in the mail. Not getting any help with the planning or executing of all these taks.
Pat & Kat sent me flowers for Mother's Day on Thursday. That was a surprise! Here they are.

I've tried to play with my new camera,a Nikon D90, but have had very little time to get acquainted with all that it does. Here are some of my photos and remember you can click them to see larger versions. I would suggest looking at the larger ones. They are awesome!

5 CIRCLE FLOWER and EXTRAS
I designed this 5 petal flower and then saw that it could be very versatile. Here are some of the projects that I've come up with. I used GBS & HA. I think it has a lot more possibilities, some that I've already got on the burner, so to speak. So here they are.
You see what I mean. Don't throw out those scraps. Two of the above designs are from the scraps. The swirls were the "circle swirl" file without the circle. I just deleted it to cut only the swirls and then undeleted when I was finished. Stack them up and curl the tips, as I did.
